QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

You can choose from these frames for your Loupes. (Bolle and Progear are not compatible with Ergo Loupes).

No, the frame is included in the price.

The process for ordering the Loupes online is as follows:

  1. We need two measurements: your working distance and the distance between your pupils.
  2. To take the distance between your pupils we will send you a “Frame Fit” (a pair of glasses with measurements) free of charge. When you receive it, you will take a photo of your face with the frame fit on, following a few simple instructions.
  3. Our expert technicians will use this photo to accurately determine the distance between your pupils. We’ll also guide you on how to measure your working distance, a straightforward process with clear instructions.
  4. These measurements are all we need to create your custom Loupes.
  5. If you wear prescription glasses for work, please let us know, as we will incorporate this correction into your Loupes.
  6. After making the payment, you can expect to receive your Loupes in about four weeks.
  7. Rest assured; your purchase comes with a 2-year warranty. In addition, there is a 60-day (approximately 2 months) “Adaptation Period” after receiving your Loupes. During this period, you have enough time to adjust to your new Loupes. If, for any reason, you find them unsatisfactory during this period, you have the option to return them, and we will provide you with a 100% refund.

We understand that adjusting to new Loupes can take time, which is why we offer an “Adaptation Period” of 60 days, approximately 2 months, from the date you receive your Loupes. During this period, you have a chance to get used to using your Loupes. If, for some reason, you find that you are not satisfied with your Loupes or simply don’t like them, during this time, you have the option to return them. In such a case, we will provide you with a full refund, giving you back 100% of the money you paid for the Loupes.

The Adaptation Period is an important feature of Admetec’s customer satisfaction policy, designed to give you peace of mind and the opportunity to ensure that your Loupes are suitable for your professional and personal needs.

Ergo Loupes:

Ergonomic Loupes are Admetec’s revolution. They reinvent the concept of the declination angle, with deflection lens technology that no longer requires looking down or bending over to see up close. Ergonomic Loupes allow the practitioner to maintain a neutral and upright position, with relaxed eyes and looking forward, as we naturally do during most of our waking hours. Strain on the back, neck and eyes is reduced, protecting the health and well-being of the professional and allowing more efficient work, which also benefits the patient.

Admetec’s Ergo Loupes series offers an unrivaled combination of magnification potential and user comfort. Customized for each wearer through a multi-factor process, the lenses’ precise vision and extremely light weight help healthcare professionals work more comfortably and efficiently for extended periods, maximizing concentration by minimizing physical discomfort.

Admetec’s innovative product design manages to maintain exceptionally low weights even in magnifiers with the highest magnification. The Ergo 10x Magnifiers weigh only 58 g.

Ergo loupes are available in six different magnification levels: 3.0x, 4.0x, 5.0x, 6.0x, 7.5x, and 10x.

The benefits of using Ergo Loupes are significant, especially when you consider the ergonomic and health-related advantages they offer: https://www.admetec.com/ergo/

  • Lower Risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs): Ergo Loupes are designed with a focus on ergonomics, helping to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders. MSDs, which affect the muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments, cartilage of joints and spinal discs, are a major concern for professionals who perform precision work, such as dentists and surgeons. Ergo magnifiers encourage a more comfortable and natural working posture, minimizing the strain on the neck, shoulders and back that can lead to MSDs.
  • Less strain on the neck: In typical standing and sitting positions, the human head weighs about 4.5-5.4 kilograms (9.9-11.9 pounds). However, when the head is tilted, as is often the case with conventional lenses, the load on the neck can increase significantly, reaching 27 kilograms (59.5 pounds). The Ergo Loupes are designed to encourage a more neutral and comfortable head position, reducing excessive strain on the neck and minimizing the risk of premature wear of the intervertebral discs.
  • Improved spine health: Prolonged periods of work with an unnatural head position, such as leaning forward or bending, can put extreme pressure on the entire spine. This can lead to long-term health problems. Ergo magnifiers promote correct head position and posture, which can help mitigate these risks and contribute to better spine health over time.
  • Increased comfort and efficiency: Ergo Loupes are designed to maintain an upright, neutral position, allowing professionals to work comfortably and efficiently for extended periods. By minimizing discomfort and physical strain, clinicians can focus more on their tasks and provide better care for their patients.
  • Improved intuitive and subconscious posture: Over time, the use of Ergo loupes naturally and subconsciously trains clinicians to maintain correct head position and posture. This intuitive fit helps establish healthier work habits, reducing the risk of tension and discomfort.

In short, Ergo Loupes not only improve comfort and efficiency, but also prioritizes the long-term health and well-being of professionals who rely on precision work in various fields, ultimately improving the quality of care they provide to their patients.
